Series 200 Inserts
Strategic Source Components Series 200 Inserts are designed to be installed into 8° tapered hole which provides a self-aligning lead-in for increased assembly times. These inserts are installed using either a ultrasonic or thermal machine. Tapered Hole Ultrasonic/Thermal Inserts available in unified thread sizes #-0-80 to 3/8-16 and M2 to M10. These inserts are offered in a short length (single barb) and long length (double barb) versions. Standard materials available are free machining brass and 303 stainless steel.
